Description :
1 Task 1: Defining Your Personal Scenario
You are to write a narrative description of a system which you will then model using data flow diagrams, structured English, decision tables, an entity model, a class diagram and use cases. It should be approximately one side of A4 (and no more than 2 sides).
This scenario can be taken from your own personal work experience, or general life experience or can be invented by yourself. The system you choose should be largely manual, but it is acceptable for parts of it to involve computers. It must be suitable for computerisation. It must be original and be based on your ideas.
2 Task 2: Modelling Your Personal Scenario Using Specific Techniques.
You are to model aspects of the scenario using the techniques identified below.
Level 1 data flow diagram
Level 2 data flow diagram
Structured English and decision table
Entity model
Class diagram
Use Case
The remainder of this section identifies what is required for each aspect in the uploaded file
3 Task 3: Process Analysis
You are to write no more than 500 words on the process you went through when tackling this assignment.
• Describe where the idea for the scenario came from.
• Highlight any problems you encountered and how you overcame them.
• Analyse how the assignment helped you learn about the techniques and their inter-relationships.
